Airports across the United Arab Emirates have resumed operations after a brief but significant disruption caused by a drone strike that hit a fuel storage facility near Dubai International Airport earlier this week.

The incident, which occurred on March 16, triggered a large fire and forced authorities to suspend flights for several hours as a precaution. Emergency crews quickly contained the blaze, and no injuries were reported.

Following the attack, the UAE temporarily closed its airspace and diverted incoming flights, underscoring growing security concerns linked to escalating regional tensions.
